School supplies for Jenner

This week, Chapter #317 was able to donate much-needed school supplies to Jenner Academy of the Arts, a pre-K through 8 school in the Cabrini Green neighborhood.  Through NMH's Adopt-a-School program, we were able to purchase notebook paper, pens, pencils, crayons, folders, and colored pencils to help prepare children ages 4-14 for the school year.

Northwestern Memorial Hospital has “adopted” schools for the past 27 years, helping to provide students with needed materials for the school year and holiday gifts in December.  AMSN Chapter #317 has partnered with the Adopt-a-School program in the past, purchasing coats and winter clothing for Jenner Academy students.
